Kenny & Anita’s wedding day finally arrived. Concerns of rain were overshadowed by the sounds of happy young women giggling with happiness as the day moved on and away from the dreaded thought. They are an adorable couple and I have loved getting to know them & am honored to have been their wedding planner.
The Oasis at Wildhorse Ranch was the perfect setting for this happy couple. It was laid back just enough to let loose but carried a sense of elegance with a beautiful reception of purple & light pink uplighting beaming softly off the walls. DIY vases with assorted spring flowers sat on black swirly runners complimenting a tuxedo black & white table scape. A large folding board with soft lace, held round name tag circles that led guests to their tables with such names as “Love” “Passion” and “Commitment”.
The arch with it’s beautiful chiffon draping, donned two floral arrangements of white roses, deep purple carnations and small purple statice welcomed guests to the romantic garden ceremony. Hand designed mason jars cuddled assorted spring flowers that hung on the ends of the chairs. The bridesmaids short plum strapless dresses with pockets and a gorgeous stoned necklace blended perfectly their multi-colored bouquets. The groomsmen’s black tuxedos & plum colored shirts complimented the bridesmaids dresses.
Nothing compared to the entrance of the stunning bride as she appeared on the arm of her tio, the crowd rose & smiles illuminated throughout the garden. Smiling from ear to ear, she walked down the aisle to her soon to be husband, who was over whelmed as he saw her coming towards him. A romantic ceremony with the blending of sand, a smile, a touch and finally — the new Mr. & Mrs. have their first kiss as a married couple. Clapping, cheering and bubbles filled the air as the happy couple walked by their friends and family as husband & wife for the first time.
Guests moved to the outside patio & enjoyed Hors D’Oeurves and drinks while the happy couple took wedding photos on the grounds of the ranch, with beautiful floating clouds & a glimpse of sunlight, for a perfect backdrop.
The scumptuous 3-tiered dotted cake was a perfect touch after a hearty Italian buffet. Adding more sweetness to the evening Tiny Chocolate Mousse and Lemon pies wrapped in Damask boxes with black ties and were served as favors for guests to enjoy as a late night sweet snack.
Congratulations Kenny & Anita – your the best — have a blast & stay cool in Tahoe!
